Introducing Valor Path Consultants
Announcing my vision for aiding veteran employment and streamlining antiquated company hiring processes for our service members
Those of you who subscribe to my geopolitical journal, Captain K’s Corner, may remember me posting a December article called, “Change of Orders.” I outlined the need to prioritize my family life, place boundaries and “office hours” on my social media use and unwind myself from the stress of constant scrutiny that has been part of my life since 2021. In addition to these reasons, I pointed out that I would like to use my energies and convictions to play a role in assisting veterans.
I have joined forces with James Tesauro (Chief Operations Officer) and Jason Bonham (Vice President), two friends and fellow military officer veterans, to launch Valor Path Consultants. Our organization aims to redefine veteran hiring and placement through education rather than by controlling and auctioning off the supply of veteran talent. As CEO, I will aim to make Valor Path the industry standard in certifying American companies to prioritize and hire our veterans, all while reducing overhead cost and streamlining processes that are more likely to lead to fulfilling business relationships.
The operational vision for the company is to offer three tiers of training. The first tier is inexpensive and rudimentary, designed to provide the most basic level of knowledge and insight into the ins and outs of military organization and veteran specifics, and is something intended to take place remotely. The remaining training tiers, if successfully completed, come with our proprietary certification, Master Veteran Employer.
If you see a company headquarters displaying that emblem, then you’ll know you’re visiting an organization that takes veteran hiring seriously and employs leaders who understand the most effective ways to use and develop them as the key team members and leaders they are. Boths Tiers 2 and 3 training, which are conducted in person with key staff and management, come with an opportunity to obtain the certification.
Tier 3 customers are invested not only in extensive training and the opportunity to earn the MVE certification, but also for hand-picked follow-on services that include candidate vetting, direct feedback, and the individually tailored Core Competency Evaluation (emblem shown above), which is our proprietary evaluation blending several key criteria essential for understanding best fit for both the prospective veteran hire and the organization.
We are stepping up to provide an alternative to costly placement firms and can benefit companies of various sizes. Tier 1 training is inexpensive, and anyone inquiring about Tier 2 or 3 training can look forward to a free remote consult to discuss and tailor your training and certification process.
