Here, at The Way of the Free Man, I am furthering my father’s gift of writing to things I love and care about - the things that make free people free. It will very rarely get political, and as such, may impact more people to take up a path to personal liberty than if I engaged in more divisive subjects, as I’ve been known to do for years now.
We are busy breathing and maintaining heartbeats, but many have given up on the world and all of its amazing splendor because they are so depressed, addicted, or torn by the things that easily entangle us and entrap our spirits. It was William Wallace who said, “Every man dies; not every man really lives.”
This journal is about exploration, building strength and readiness, and reflecting on the things that were once good, and could be again. When I’m gone, I don’t want my children or loved ones to think about me having a life less lived - and that will be the goal of this journal - to empower you to reflect on the things that set free the spirit of man.
